September 28, 2014

I hope you've all enjoyed seeing the stylish men and women of Goodwood Revival! Here are my last set of photographs...Even though this festival was just the other weekend it feels like summer is well and truly over now, I'm back at University and the heatings been turned up in my little student house in Manchester! Its been a great summer...working in London while staying my my boyfriend and friends, travelling to Budapest and Barcelona, doing my first internship in publishing and visits home to see my family and their two dogs! I havn't really blogged about any of it! I think we share so much of our lives on the internet that I wanted my little blog to be less abut me and more about things that people like me will find interesting..So I'd love to get some comments about what content you like best (from the odd person that does actually view my blog!).
Hope to hear from you soon!

50's love!
Fresh and individual!
My favourite vintage couple
Such a fan of this ladies look, a cool mix of vintage rockabilly and modern style.

Simple 60's style

Poor Foxy!

I LOVED this ladies outfit, muted greys mixed with print and pops of yellow. Perfect.

Some of my favourite colours pastel mink and mint green, yum.

Goodwood Revival - Festival Style - Part 1

September 17, 2014

This weekend I packed my bags and headed down south with my family to the Goodwood Revival Meeting; a weekend filled with everything vintage.
The 3 day festival recreates the golden era of motorsport in the 50s and 60s with vintage cars racing around the track as they did over 60 years ago. Everyone goes to such an effort to dress head to toe in vintage and its an amazing sight! I couldn't help capturing the people I saw.

All over colour blocking is a bold statement that looks confidant and powerful - and this women looks sassy as hell.

This is a perfect look for transitioning from summer to autumn. Bright florals with a fur trim accompanied with classic vintage shoes and gloves.
Relaxed victory rolls and vivid red lipstick lift this modern dress into the realms of vintage starlet.
Head to toe in black glamorous vintage on a late summers day - very Dita Von Teese-esque!
These ladies look flawless in classic 1950s dress. Vintage hats, gloves and handbags tie the whole look together.
This couples look is imaginatively quirky and vintage, with feathers nestled in her victory rolls and a vibrant underskirt that revives her vintage dress.
I hope everyones having a satisfactory wednesday! and I hope these amazing outfits give you some inspiration on how to mix old and new to create something unique! More images from Goodwood coming soon :)
